The day started off on a high note when I found the 2015 issue of Southern Weddings in my mailbox. This gorgeous magazine is a sister publication to Southern Living, so you can imagine the beautiful weddings inside. We did an interview on advice for newlyweds on making your first house a home and I couldn’t believe they gave it two whole pages!

Super excited that we spotted Lady Mary in the weddings section of the new issue of Greenwich Magazine in a story on English Garden themed weddings. How elegant are all those pieces they paired our invitation with?
Early this year we were contacted by the sweet gals at Southern Weddings Magazine, the sister publication of Southern Living, who were interested in commissioning an invitation design that would compliment a peach orchard wedding. We were given lots of images of things like chambray bow ties, ethereal and simple wedding gowns, farm tables in the grass beneath chandeliered trees overlooking orchards, dusty peach velvet ribbons and tons of ripe, juicy peaches that made my mouth water. I set to work creating an invitation that would do such a setting justice and arrived at Eudora—our most genteel invitation to date, named for Ms. Eudora Welty.
This week we’ve been waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Southern Weddings’ annual issue in stores and it’s finally here!

We’ve been so blessed by the press this year with features in some of the world’s best publications. Our cup overflows this Thanksgiving.
The wait is finally over! We’re so excited to finally introduce the newest members of the Lucky Luxe design collection— the Bernhardt invitation and the Peacock save-the-date, both featured in the fall 2014 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
In October 2013, the magazine contacted us to commission an art nouveau inspired invitation for a story on invitation designs by decade. The seeds for this design were planted with Muse, our art nouveau invitation predecessor. I so enjoyed exploring the ethereal aesthetic of that period and stepping back from the geometric glamour of the 1920s that brides have been loving for the last couple of years. I’m not a very sharp-edged kind of designer typically and so I tend to agree with Marion Cotillard’s enchanting character from Midnight in Paris, who longs to be part of the Belle Époque, a time period she never got to experience in person. Anyway, Bernhardt is here now, and I hope she inspires your wedding in the same way she inspired my psyche when we were creating the design.
Prairie is a Lucky Luxe classic—part of the original Collection started way back in 2008, so I was really tickled when Brides Magazine contacted us about giving it some love in their August/September 2014 issue. Sometimes people tend to overlook our older designs (hello Heirloom!), but Prairie truly is just as elegant as our newer work, I think. And just right for this sea green + blue palette feature.
We yelped a little in the bookstore when we found the new June/July 2014 issue of Brides on shelves this morning. Our Austen invitation is featured in rose gold foil and navy letterpress on page 304 in the article about Jaime Moffett and Tom Gossin’s (lead singer of the hit-making country band, Gloriana) gorgeous, vintage, art deco speakeasy-inspired wedding day. Check it out!
This morning we found our Boudoir handkerchief invitation featured in Weddings Illustrated Magazine! You Florida brides can pick it up in stores everywhere today!
I was completely shocked and flattered and confused when Mississippi Magazine sent word I would be included in their article about 5 creative Mississippi women making a national impact. When I got our copy in the mail, it felt surreal. We’re so thankful for a magazine that lifts up the beautiful, creative and worthy things about our state. I don’t feel like I deserve this, but gosh I’m sure grateful.
Our Signature handkerchief invitation is popping up in the feature on Jessica and Greg’s gorgeous rustic Colorado wedding in The Knot Colorado magazine! Since she’s a wedding planner, it was a breeze coordinating with them. Can’t you smell the warm breezy sunshiney day when you look at their photos?
