Letterpress
PAPER
Our house paper is available in ecru, pearl and fluorescent white. Crane’s Lettra is a heavy, luxurious 100% cotton paper that’s engineered for letterpress and is very soft to the touch. Lettra has maximum suppleness and receptiveness to a deep impression. We also offer a rustic 80 lb. natural kraft paper made from recycled fibers for an additional fee.
PAPER THICKNESS
While 110 lb. Lettra is our standard house paper, We also offer double-thick 220 lb. Lettra as an upgrade for your invitation card.
EDGE PAINT
Imagine a pop of bright color on a traditional invitation, or a gilded edge on something fun and informal. It makes such a luxurious statement! Edge paint is available only when you upgrade to double-thick paper.
ENVELOPES
All letterpress invitations come with printed 100% cotton Crane Lettra envelopes with pointed flaps. Unprinted inner envelopes and colored envelopes with Euro flaps are also available for an additional fee. Click here to view color options.
BELLY BANDS
We offer paper wraps that coordinate with your wedding invitation design to secure your invitation and all its enclosures in one sweetly customized bundle. The Ilene belly band is shown above.
FOILS
Using a letterpress and heat transfer process, delicate foil is pressed into the paper for a 24 karat shine with a dramatic paper impression. Available in gold, rose gold, and silver, this is a perfect upgrade option if the subtle sheen of letterpress metallic ink isn’t bold enough for you.
Flatprint
PAPER
All flatprint invitations are printed on our house letterpress paper, 110 lb. 100% cotton Crane Lettra. Gold foil and metallic inks are not available for flatprint. The Gatsby invitation is shown here in flatprint.
ENVELOPES
All flatprinted invitations and reply cards come with your return address printed on luxurious matching 100% cotton Crane Lettra envelopes with pointed flaps. Gold foil and metallic inks are not available in flatprint. The Gatsby envelope set is shown here in flatprint.
Fabric
WHITE OR IVORY LACE TRIM HANDKERCHIEFS
Our lace trim hankies are available in bright white or ivory. They are delicate 100% cotton and each one is lovingly printed by hand. White matches our fluorescent white envelopes, and ivory coordinates nicely with our pearl white envelopes.
MARKET GRAIN SACK
Each Market invitation is made lovingly by hand with subtle variations in ink texture and application on the 100% cotton surface of the miniature grain sacks. These are not defects, but part of the inherent character of this handmade design. Grain sacks are available plain or with hand-printed vintage-inspired French stripes.
